  27. Some people had expressed an interest in where to get
  28. MAC uucp software.  Since I lost their address, and this is pretty
  29. useful information, here's the summary from a colleague of mine
  30. who has such a link set up...

  34. There are two implementations of UUCP for the Macintosh that I know of.
  35. The one that I use is a Mac port of Gnuucp, from the Free Software Foundation;
  36. there's also a port of the PC's UUPC.

  38. Mac/Gnuucp (the one that I use) is (should be--they purge it
  39. occasionally) available from sumex-aim.stanford.edu; failing that, try
  40. rascal.ics.utexas.edu.  I would also recommend the mail reader Fernmail
  41. (also at sumex-aim) over the HyperCard stack that comes with Mac/Gnuucp.

  43. UUPC [the Macintosh port] should be available at these same places,
  44. although it is harder to find, and harder to get working.
